Access Numbers Explained
Local Access Number
This is a number within your free local calling area;
i.e. a number you call without dialling an area code.
Using the local access number for your area will give
you the best rates. If you cannot call a local access
number without dialling the area code, your call to
that number will be charged to the phone you are calling
from at the prevailing rate from its service provider.
National Convenience Number 015 215
This number is for use when you cannot call one of the
102 local access numbers free of charge, for example
when calling from a payphone, motel, hotel, mobile phone
and so on. Use of the national convenience number incurs
surcharges.
