What's a local access number?
The local access number is a number within your free local
calling area and is a number you can dial without using
an area code. It is a free call from a residential phone
line.
What if I can't dial a local access number free of charge/without
using the area code?
The national convenience number 015 215
is your alternative access number, if you cannot call
a local access number free of charge. 015 215 can be called
from anywhere in the country and the call will not be
charged to the phone you are calling from. Instead, surcharges
apply to the calls you make using your phone card if you
have dialled the national convenience number.
